Aaghi LMS is Allama Iqbal Open University’s online learning platform for academic activities such as assignments and workshops for relevant programmes. If you already know what you need to do, use the task table below instead of working through a long general LMS guide.
AIOU does not use exactly the same Aaghi process for every programme or semester. The official Aaghi page currently separates Spring 2026 ODL Online Workshop + Assignment Submission from Autumn 2026 Face-to-Face Programs, along with separate options for overseas students and password recovery.

The official Aaghi LMS entry page is the safest starting point when you are unsure which semester or programme portal applies to you. Open the official Aaghi LMS
Aaghi LMS Login
Students can access Aaghi LMS using the credentials issued by AIOU. The university’s FAQ states that Aaghi credentials are generally sent before the study period begins.
Start from the official Aaghi page rather than an old bookmarked semester login. The landing page can direct you to the appropriate current or previous LMS portal according to your programme and semester.
If you only need help signing in, use the dedicated Aaghi LMS Login guide rather than the assignment or workshop instructions.
Do not rely on an old username format, temporary password formula or screenshot from an earlier semester. Login arrangements and portal instances can change.
Assignment Tasks
Aaghi LMS is used for online assignment submission by relevant AIOU programmes, but not by every student.
AIOU’s FAQ specifically says that students enrolled in BS, B.Ed, MA, MSc ODL and equivalent programmes are required to upload assignments through Aaghi LMS. It separately says SSC and HSSC assignments are submitted to tutors.
Check the submission method for your own programme before uploading anything.
Upload an Assignment
For students whose programme uses LMS submission, the normal task begins after signing into Aaghi and opening the relevant course.
AIOU’s official student material describes a course-based assignment workflow through the LMS, while the university FAQ directs eligible ODL students to Aaghi for assignment submission.

Do not use an assignment guide for another programme or semester as proof that your own assignment must be submitted in the same way.
Check Whether Your Assignment Was Submitted
Uploading a file and checking its submission status solve two different problems.
After working through the upload process, students should verify the status shown for the correct course and assignment activity rather than assuming that selecting a file automatically completed the submission.

That page should focus on confirmation and status, not marks.
Check Assignment Marks
Assignment marks are an assessment result. They are not the same thing as submission status.
If your assignment was uploaded but marks are not showing, AIOU’s FAQ advises students who submitted according to the assignment schedule to contact the concerned Regional Campus where necessary.

Workshop Tasks
Aaghi LMS also supports online workshop activity for programmes where workshops are conducted through the platform.
Check Workshop Schedule
Before trying to join a class, confirm that you actually have a scheduled workshop.
AIOU advises students to check their Aaghi LMS account regularly because workshop information can be uploaded there. The university also maintains a separate Workshop Information page. It currently lists Spring 2026 ODL Workshop, Spring 2026 Face-to-Face Workshop, and a Spring 2026 workshop schedule summary for relevant programmes.

Join an Online Workshop
AIOU’s official Aaghi page tells students and resource persons to join online workshops through the Aaghi LMS workshop link. It also states that separate workshop links can be provided for different days, so students should open the link for the correct workshop day.
That is important because an old direct meeting link or a link saved from another workshop may not be the correct route.

Workshop Attendance
Joining a workshop and having attendance recorded are related, but they are not the same task.
If you attended a session but your attendance record does not appear as expected, first check the correct course and workshop activity in your LMS account. Do not assume that simply opening a workshop link proves the final attendance record.
Use the dedicated Aaghi Workshop Attendance guide for attendance issues. Avoid relying on old percentage rules or automatic pass/fail claims unless they are confirmed for your current programme and semester.
Workshop Marks
Workshop marks should also be treated separately from attendance.
Attendance answers whether your participation was recorded. Workshop marks concern the academic record displayed for the relevant activity or course.
Use the Aaghi Workshop Marks guide when marks are the specific issue. Do not treat an attendance screen as proof that marks have been released.
Aaghi LMS Login and Password Problems
Different login problems need different solutions.
Forgot your password
AIOU now provides an official LMS Password Reset facility. The current recovery page asks for the LMS username or Student ID and uses verification before password reset.
Use this route instead of following an old temporary-password formula found in an outdated guide.
Credentials are not accepted
Make sure you are entering the credentials for the correct Aaghi account and semester route.
AIOU states that LMS credentials are supplied by the university. If credentials were not received, the university FAQ directs students toward their concerned Regional Campus for assistance.
Course is not visible
AIOU says courses are updated on Aaghi LMS after admission is confirmed.
If your admission has only recently been confirmed, this distinction matters. A missing course is not automatically a password problem.

Portal is not loading
First open the main Aaghi landing page rather than an old semester-specific URL.
Then try the usual browser checks: reload the page, reopen it in a current browser, disable an interfering browser extension if necessary, and try another connection or device.
If the main official portal opens but your account still does not, use the relevant login or password guide rather than repeatedly changing your credentials.

Choose the guide that matches the actual problem. A password reset will not fix a course that has not yet appeared in your account.
Spring and Autumn LMS Information
Aaghi access can vary by semester, programme and mode of study.
The current official LMS landing page shows:
- Spring 2026 for ODL Online Workshop + Assignment Submission
- Autumn 2026 for Face-to-Face Programs
- separate access for international students
- previous LMS portal options
- an official forgot-password route
This does not mean every Spring student has the same LMS activities, or that every Autumn 2026 student should use the same face-to-face portal.
Use the semester and programme shown in your own admission and course information.
