Official university decisions, schedules, fees, admissions, examinations, results, academic rules and student records remain under the authority of AIOU.

Sources We Use
The appropriate source depends on the information being published.
For AIOU-specific facts, we normally give priority to sources in roughly this order:

- Official AIOU portals such as Aaghi LMS and other student services.

How We Verify AIOU Information
AIOU information is often specific to a programme, course or semester. For that reason, information from one page or document cannot automatically be applied everywhere.

A link should not be described as a PDF download when it actually sends the student to an unrelated page.
An official AIOU assignment question paper should not be described as a solved assignment unless a separate solved document genuinely exists and has been identified correctly.
Older question papers, schedules and study files should also not be labelled as current merely because they remain available online.
Where a requested file cannot be verified, it is better to explain its actual availability and direct the student to the relevant official source than to provide a misleading download.
External Links and Official AIOU Portals
Links should lead to the destination described by the surrounding text or button.
If a link is described as an official portal, schedule, form, question paper or university service, its destination should correspond to that description.
Official AIOU destinations are preferred where a student needs to perform an official action, such as logging in to a university service, reviewing a university notice or completing a university procedure.
Websites change over time. Links may be moved, redirected or removed. Broken or materially changed links may therefore be updated when identified.
Authors and Editorial Responsibility
AIOUTutor.pk may publish articles under named authors.
Where an author is identified, biographical information should be limited to details that can genuinely be supported. We do not want author pages to create authority through invented qualifications or experience.
This means we should not attribute degrees, university employment, teaching experience, professional affiliations, interviews or specialist credentials to a writer unless those details are accurate and supportable.
An author’s name does not change the status of AIOUTutor.pk as an independent website, and it does not imply that the author represents Allama Iqbal Open University.
