To check a Spring 2026 admission, use the AIOU route that matches how you applied. Fresh online applicants should sign in to the Online Application System (OAS)
This guide is for students checking an existing Spring 2026 application. AIOU’s website currently displays Autumn 2026 admission information; select Spring 2026 in your own record where the portal offers a semester choice.
| How you applied | Where to check | What to have ready |
|---|---|---|
| New applicant through an online form | AIOU OAS | Your OAS login details and application record |
| Existing student enrolling for another semester | AIOU CMS | Your CMS user ID and password |
| Applicant using a printed prospectus form | AIOU Helpdesk | Form details, paid challan and any correspondence |
AIOU publishes separate instructions for fresh applicants and continuing students in its admission confirmation procedure. Start there if you are unsure which account applies to you.
Fresh applicants: check admission in OAS
If Spring 2026 was your first admission and you submitted the form online, open the AIOU OAS portal and sign in using the details associated with your application. AIOU’s instructions tell new applicants to check their admission status in this system. Open the relevant application and confirm that its programme and semester match the form you submitted.
Read the status shown against your application. If AIOU has supplied a tracking ID or later CMS credentials, save the message for your records. Do not share your password or a screenshot containing your CNIC, phone number or other personal details on a public page.
You can check whether your payment has been recorded in OAS, but a displayed fee status and an admission confirmation answer different questions. AIOU says online fee records can sometimes take time to update. If you paid and OAS still shows the fee as unpaid, keep the transaction evidence and follow AIOU’s fee verification guidance rather than paying the same challan again without checking.
Continuing students: check the Spring 2026 semester in CMS
If you were already an AIOU student and enrolled for Spring 2026, use the CMS enrollment portal. Sign in, then inspect your semester’s course registration and fee information. AIOU’s official confirmation guide lists CMS for continuing students and describes the academic record and course registration areas. Check that the course codes displayed are the ones you intended to take.
To check a continuing student’s fee status, AIOU’s FAQ gives this CMS path: Course Registration → View Submitted Request → fee status. If the fee shows as paid but the course record does not match your enrollment, keep both records and raise the discrepancy with AIOU.
If you cannot sign in because you have not received your CMS credentials, AIOU’s CMS guidance directs students to its helpline or helpdesk. The published helpline is 051-111-112-468.
Applied with a printed form?
A student who submitted a printed prospectus form should keep the student copy of the form, paid challan and any postal or courier evidence. AIOU’s FAQ directs applicants seeking manual/prospectus challan verification and admission confirmation to support.aiou.edu.pk. Give the helpdesk enough information to identify the application, but send personal documents only through AIOU’s official channel.
You may encounter older AIOU instructions or third-party pages describing a search by name, roll number or challan number. Those instructions should not replace the current OAS, CMS and manual-form routes published in AIOU’s admission guidance. In particular, failing to find a record in an older search tool does not, by itself, establish that your Spring 2026 application was rejected.
What if your admission is still not confirmed?
First, identify which part is missing:
- Fee paid but not visible: Check the correct OAS or CMS account again and retain your bank receipt or mobile-wallet transaction message. AIOU explains how to report an unverified payment in its fee FAQs.
- No confirmation SMS: Check the mobile number and email used on the application, then inspect the application in OAS. An absent SMS alone is not a reliable way to determine admission status. AIOU publishes processing guidance for online and manually sent applications, but it does not guarantee every applicant an identical confirmation date.
- An objection or missing document: Follow the instruction shown against your application. AIOU also provides a separate procedure for checking objections on admission forms. Resolve the specific issue AIOU identifies; do not submit a second application simply because confirmation is delayed.
- No accessible record or login: Contact the AIOU Helpdesk with your application details and payment evidence. Keep its ticket number or response so you can follow up on the same case.
If you are looking for an application form rather than checking one already submitted, use AIOUTutor’s admission form guide. For programme and semester information, see the admissions guide or browse the Admissions section. If your question concerns how much you paid, the admission fee guide covers that separate topic; verify any current amount against AIOU’s programme-specific notice.
