To open your AIOU student account, use the university’s Enrollment (CMS) portal
CMS stands for Campus Management System. Continuing students use it to register courses for another semester. Depending on the task, students can also find academic records, tutor details, results and fee information there. Your first application for admission belongs in AIOU’s separate Online Admission System, or OAS.
| Your task | Where to go |
|---|---|
| Sign in to your student account or register courses as a continuing student | Official CMS portal |
| Apply for the first semester of a programme | AIOU’s fresh admission page |
| Access an online workshop or an applicable assignment course | Aaghi LMS |
| Ask AIOU for help with access or records | AIOU Helpdesk |
AIOUTutor.pk is an independent student information website. Enter your student ID and password only on the appropriate AIOU portal.
How to log in to AIOU CMS
- Open enrollment.aiou.edu.pk, or go to aiou.edu.pk and select Enrollment (CMS).
- Enter the CMS login details AIOU issued to you.
- After signing in, choose the section that matches your task, such as course registration, academic records or fee information.
- Check the programme and semester shown in your account before submitting a request or paying a challan.
AIOU says continuing students receive a student ID and password for CMS. The university’s continuing-students page is the safest starting point if an old bookmark takes you somewhere unexpected.
If you are applying to AIOU for the first time, start with OAS for Fresh Admission. CMS course registration is intended for students continuing into another semester. You can also browse the AIOUTutor admissions hub for related guides, but use AIOU’s own page for the application and current programme information.
What can you do after logging in?
AIOU describes CMS as the system for student academic records and related services. The available information may depend on your account and the stage of your studies.
| Need | What to look for in CMS |
|---|---|
| Enroll for another semester | Course Registration |
| Check whether a submitted continuing-student fee shows as paid | Course Registration → View Submitted Request → fee status |
| Find your assigned tutor | Academic Record |
| Review results or academic history | Exams and Grades or the relevant academic-record section |
| Find a generated fee challan | Your financial account or the relevant course-registration request |
The fee-status path above comes from AIOU’s FAQs. AIOU says fresh students check their fee status in OAS, while continuing students check it in CMS. If a payment has not appeared yet, do not assume that the payment failed: AIOU notes that updates can sometimes be delayed. Keep your payment evidence and use the official helpdesk if the issue remains unresolved.
For results, check the semester and programme displayed in your own account. AIOU also provides results links on its website. The presence of a CMS results section does not mean that every programme’s results have been released.
Using CMS for Autumn 2026
AIOU’s website displays Autumn 2026 admission information and provides separate links for fresh admission and CMS enrollment. That homepage notice does not, by itself, confirm that course registration remains open for every continuing student or programme. Check the instructions and options in your CMS account and the applicable AIOU admission information before making a semester-specific payment or submission.
There is no single fee to quote for every CMS user. A challan depends on the student’s programme, courses and applicable charges. Review the details on the challan generated for your request before paying. If you have changed your course selection, AIOU advises using the most recent submitted challan rather than an earlier copy.
If your CMS login is not working
You have not received a username or password: AIOU’s continuing-students page says to call 051-111-112-468 or submit a request through the AIOU Helpdesk. Its FAQs also direct students who have not received CMS credentials to their regional campus. Have your own student details ready when contacting AIOU; do not post a password publicly.
Your credentials are rejected: Confirm that you opened the CMS link supplied by AIOU and are using your CMS credentials. The Aaghi LMS login serves a different purpose and has its own university-provided credentials. If access still fails, ask the helpdesk or your regional campus to check your account. Avoid relying on password formulas copied from older guides.
A course, tutor or payment is missing: First check that you are viewing the correct semester and submitted request. AIOU says students should contact the relevant regional campus if tutor details are unavailable. For a fee that remains unverified, follow the evidence and support instructions in AIOU’s FAQs.
CMS or Aaghi LMS?
Use CMS for enrollment and student administrative records. Use Aaghi LMS for the online learning activities AIOU assigns to your programme, including applicable workshops and assignment submission. AIOU’s FAQs distinguish the two portals and their credentials. If your immediate task is a workshop or online assignment, go to Aaghi LMS and see the AIOUTutor Aaghi LMS guide. For other result-related pages, browse the AIOUTutor results section while confirming any announcement on AIOU’s official site.
