If you have used Aaghi LMS before and forgotten your password, open the official AIOU LMS password reset page. It asks for your LMS Username / Student ID, then guides you through account verification and, where a registered contact is available, a one-time code. You can also begin at the main Aaghi LMS page and select Forgot LMS Password. This helps you start from AIOU’s current portal choices rather than an old bookmarked login screen. AIOU directs students to the password reset option on that page. aaghi.aiou.edu.pk

Reset your password through the AIOU form

  1. Open the AIOU LMS password reset form.
  2. Enter the LMS username you normally use, or the student ID requested by the form. Select Verify Account.
  3. If the form offers a registered mobile number or email address, select a contact method you can access and request the verification code.
  4. Enter the six-digit code on AIOU’s verification screen and continue to set a new password.
  5. Return to the Aaghi LMS page, choose the portal for your programme and semester, and try your new password.

The form labels its first field LMS Username / Student ID. Do not guess that every student’s username has the same format, or assume your CMS password is also your LMS password. If you know the username you previously used for Aaghi, start with that. amcr.aiou.edu.pk

Does your LMS login show an email recovery form?

AIOU also has an LMS forgotten-password form that lets you search by username or email address. If it finds your account, it says instructions will be sent to the email address associated with it. Follow the recovery form shown for the LMS portal you use; the email form and the verification-code form have different steps. lms3.aiou.edu.pk

If the code or reset email does not arrive

On the verification-code form, check which registered contact method is offered. If Resend OTP becomes available, use it after checking your messages. For email recovery, check the inbox and spam folder of the address linked to your LMS account. AIOU’s form does not establish a guaranteed delivery time. amcr.aiou.edu.pk

If your old phone number or email is inaccessible, or the form cannot identify your account, contact your concerned AIOU Regional Campus or submit a request through the official AIOU Helpdesk. Describe the error and provide the student details AIOU requests for your case. Never include your password or verification code in an email, ticket, comment or screenshot. aiou.edu.pk

Never received your LMS username or password?

That is an initial credentials problem, rather than a forgotten password. AIOU says LMS credentials are generally sent before the study period begins and advises students who have not received them to email their concerned Regional Campus. Use AIOU’s regional LMS email list to find the appropriate address. The same route is useful if you cannot identify the LMS account that needs resetting. aiou.edu.pk

Reset succeeded, but you still cannot log in?

Start again from the main Aaghi page and select the portal that matches your programme and semester. Enter the LMS username and new password manually so a saved browser password does not fill the old one. If you can log in but your courses are missing, another reset is unlikely to address that issue. AIOU says courses are updated in LMS after admission is confirmed. Check your admission and semester details, then raise a course-access problem with your concerned Regional Campus if the expected courses remain absent.
