Aaghi LMS Assignment Submission: Upload and Confirm Your File

Student checking an Aaghi assignment submission

First, check whether your programme uses Aaghi LMS for assignments. AIOU says students in BS, B.Ed, MA, MSc and equivalent open distance learning (ODL) programmes submit their course assignments through Aaghi. SSC and HSSC students submit assignments to their tutors. If your programme’s route is unclear, confirm it with your regional campus before uploading a file. Education For All

If Aaghi is your submission route, open the official Aaghi LMS page. Choose the entry for your semester and programme, then use the credentials AIOU provided. The steps below help you match the assignment, upload your file and check the submission record. AIOUTutor is an independent student guide, not an AIOU portal.

Check the course and prepare your file

Before you sign in, note your semester, course code and assignment number. Compare your work with AIOU’s assignment question papers and assignment schedule. A question paper helps you identify the task; the schedule helps you check its due date. You still need to select the matching assignment activity inside your own course. Education For All

Follow the instructions that apply to your programme, semester and course. AIOU’s Spring 2026 instructions for the listed AD, BS, B.Ed, MA/MSc, M.Ed, MPhil and PhD assignments require typed work in Word or PDF format and say scanned handwritten assignments are unacceptable. Do not rely on an older upload guide to decide your file format or assume that every course has the same file-size limit. online.aiou.edu.pk

If you are using a phone, open the finished file once before uploading it. Check that it contains all pages, is readable, and has a name that lets you recognise the course and assignment. Keep a copy on your device until you have verified the LMS record.

Upload the assignment in the correct course

  1. Sign in through the official Aaghi LMS page using the entry assigned to your semester and programme.
  2. Open your course and match its code with your enrolled-course record. Do not select a similar course title from another semester.
  3. Open the activity for the correct assignment number. Read its instructions and displayed due date before selecting a file.
  4. Use the upload or Add submission control shown in that activity. Select your completed file, then use the displayed save control.
  5. Return to the assignment activity and read what the LMS says about the submission. A file selected for upload, or one saved as a draft, is not by itself proof of completed submission. If your activity presents a further Submit assignment or confirmation action, follow it and check the record again.

An older illustrated guide on AIOUTutor shows a course → assignment → upload → save sequence. Button labels and any final confirmation step can vary with the activity’s current settings, so follow what appears in your own course. aioututor.pk

Confirm that the right assignment went through

Reopen the activity after submitting. Check the course code, assignment number, attached file and status displayed there. Open the attached file if the LMS allows it, especially if you uploaded from a phone. Save a screenshot of the submission record for your own reference, including the course and assignment details where visible. Keep personal information out of any screenshot you share publicly.

If you can see the file but the page still asks you to complete a submission action, follow that action and inspect the status again. If the record remains unclear, keep the file and screenshot and seek help promptly rather than assuming the upload is complete.

If something is missing or the upload fails

Course missing: Check that you entered the right semester and programme. AIOU says courses are added to Aaghi after admission confirmation. If your admission is confirmed and the course still does not appear, contact your regional campus. Education For All

Cannot sign in: Use AIOUTutor’s Aaghi account and login problems guide to identify the account issue before trying to submit again. AIOU also directs students who have not received LMS credentials to their regional campus. aioututor.pk

Assignment activity or upload option missing: Recheck the semester, course code, assignment number and displayed instructions. The public question paper or schedule does not prove that a particular activity is open in your account. If the expected activity is still unavailable, contact the regional campus with those details.

File saved but submission uncertain: Return to the activity and read its status. Keep your screenshot and file when reporting the problem. Do not assume that a saved draft will be submitted automatically.

Marks are a later step. Once your submission is recorded, use the assignment marks guide when you need to follow up on grading. For other LMS tasks, start at the Aaghi student help hub.
