To track AIOU course books, first check whether your program receives printed books. AIOU directs Matric, FA and old BA/Associate Degree students to Mailing Books Tracking in Enrollment CMS
| Your situation | Where to go |
|---|---|
| You are checking mailed course books for Matric, FA or old BA/Associate Degree | AIOU Enrollment CMS → Mailing Books Tracking |
| AIOU directs your program to use digital books | AIOU E-Books |
| CMS says your books were dispatched | Use the dispatch details to follow AIOU’s Pakistan Post tracking instructions |
The AIOU Books hub also groups related guides, but your book record and course files come from AIOU’s services.
How to track mailed AIOU books in CMS
AIOU’s official instructions use Enrollment CMS, not a single public form that shows every student’s books after entering a roll number. Have your CMS login details ready, then:
- Open Enrollment CMS and sign in.
- Choose Mailing Books Tracking.
- Select the academic institution, career and program requested on the screen.
- Select the Spring or Autumn semester you want to check.
- Search and open the tracking details for your books.
The available record may show whether a parcel has been dispatched. A dispatch entry does not mean it has already reached your address. AIOU’s illustrated book-tracking guide shows the menu sequence if you need help finding the CMS fields. For general sign-in help, use our AIOU CMS portal guide.
If your books show as dispatched
Open the full tracking details before contacting a delivery office. AIOU’s guide explains how to use the dispatch information with Pakistan Post. Follow the example for your program, semester and student ID rather than copying an example tracking number from the guide: its illustrated numbers belong to earlier semesters.
If there is no dispatch entry, do not assume that Pakistan Post already has your parcel. First confirm that you selected the correct semester and program in CMS.
Where to download AIOU e-books
Open the official AIOU E-Books page and locate the book for your registered course code. Check the code and book title before saving a file, especially if you study more than one course or see similarly named books. A link to the e-books catalogue is a starting point; it is not a direct PDF for every program.
AIOU’s tracking guide specifically separates students who should check mailed books from those directed to soft books. If your program falls in the second group, an empty postal tracking record may simply mean there is no printed parcel to track. Use the e-books route given for your program rather than waiting for a dispatch message.
Books missing, incorrect or not showing
Check the selected program and semester first. If AIOU should mail your books but the parcel has not arrived, keep your CMS dispatch details and use our books-not-received guide for the next steps. If a parcel was returned or could not be delivered, see the separate undelivered-books guide.
For a problem you cannot resolve from the record, use AIOU’s Help Desk or its published student support contact rather than sending login credentials or personal documents to an unofficial tracking page. AIOU lists 051-111-112-468 and support@aiou.edu.pk on its website.
Bought a book separately from the AIOU Bookstore? That is a different order. Its Bookstore tracking page asks for a challan number; use CMS for semester course-book mailing.
