Autumn 2026 Enrollment Deadline for Continuing Students
AIOU’s latest Autumn 2026 advertisement gives the following schedule:

The university previously announced earlier closing dates, but the advertisement added to AIOU’s Autumn 2026 admission directory on 24 September gives 5 October 2026 as the closing date for enrollment of continuing students.
AIOU does not state a single late-fee amount in this advertisement. Students should therefore rely on the amount generated for their own enrollment request in CMS rather than using an amount quoted on an older webpage or social-media post.
Continuing Student Enrollment Is Different From Fresh Admission
This distinction matters because AIOU uses separate systems for the two types of students.
A continuing student is someone who is already enrolled in an AIOU programme and needs to register for the next semester. AIOU says these students enroll through the Online CMS portal using their student ID and password.
A fresh applicant is applying for admission to a programme rather than continuing an existing enrollment. Fresh applicants use AIOU’s Online Admission System.

How to Enroll for AIOU Autumn 2026 Through CMS
The basic continuing-student enrollment process is:
- Open the official AIOU CMS enrollment portal.
- Sign in using your AIOU student ID and password.
- Open the course-registration or enrollment section.
- Review the courses offered to you for the Autumn 2026 semester.
- Select the appropriate courses for your programme and semester.
- Review the request before submitting it.

Continuing enrollment is not the same as applying for a programme from the beginning. You normally select courses available for your next semester under your existing programme.

- the semester shown in CMS;
- your programme;
- the courses being offered;
- any compulsory and elective-course requirements;
- the total fee generated after your selections.
Do not select a course simply because it appears in an old prospectus, Facebook post or another student’s screenshot. Course availability can differ by programme, semester and individual academic record.
If an expected course is missing or the available choices do not match your study scheme, it is safer to contact AIOU before submitting and paying the challan.
How the Autumn 2026 Fee Challan Works
Once the enrollment request has been submitted, CMS generates the fee information connected with that request.
Students should use the latest submitted challan from their own CMS account.
This is particularly important if you change your course selection. AIOU explains that when a student generates a new challan after adding or deleting courses, an earlier challan may be cancelled. The university advises students to use the most recent challan carrying the submitted status.

Challan Not Showing for Payment?
AIOU says newly generated challan information can take around one hour to become available in the bank or payment system.
If the payment service cannot find your challan:
- wait for the challan data to update;
- make sure its due or validity date has not expired;
- confirm that you are using the newest submitted challan;
- if necessary, try again on the next working day.

How to Pay the AIOU Enrollment Fee
AIOU currently provides several fee-payment routes. The university’s Autumn 2026 advertisement specifically lists payment through ABL, MCB, FWBL and NBP, as well as Upaisa, Easypaisa and JazzCash.
AIOU’s current fee information also includes additional supported digital and banking payment arrangements. One important restriction is clear: do not send the fee through a normal IBFT or RAAST funds transfer, because AIOU states that this payment mode is not allowed for fee collection.

How to Check Whether Your AIOU Fee Is Paid
Paying the challan is not the final step. Check CMS afterward to make sure the payment has been linked to your enrollment request.

The status should show whether the fee is paid or unpaid.
A payment may not appear instantly. AIOU notes that CMS or the admission system can sometimes take additional time to update after payment.

What If the Fee Is Paid but CMS Still Shows Unpaid?
First, allow reasonable time for the system to update.
If the payment still does not appear, AIOU asks students to provide evidence of payment to its support service.
For bank payments, the university may require transaction details from the bank. For JazzCash, Easypaisa or Upaisa payments, keep the successful transaction notification or SMS containing the transaction ID.
