AIOU Books Not Received? Check Eligibility, Dispatch and Next Steps

If your AIOU books have not arrived, first check whether your programme receives printed books. Then confirm your enrolled courses and semester. If a packet is expected, its CMS mailing record will tell you whether to ask AIOU about dispatch or investigate delivery through Pakistan Post. 1. Confirm which books you should receive

Open your admission or enrollment record and note your programme, semester and course codes. Make sure your admission and the relevant courses are confirmed before looking for a mailing record.

AIOU’s book-tracking guide gives printed-book tracking instructions for Matric, FA and old BA students. It directs students in the other programmes named in that guide to digital books instead of printed delivery. Do not assume that every degree programme receives a parcel. 2. Check the CMS mailing record

If you expect printed books, sign in to AIOU Enrollment CMS. Open Mailing Books Tracking, select the correct programme and semester, then use Tracking Details → View All to inspect the record. Check the semester carefully. A record for a previous semester does not establish that your current books were sent.

No dispatch is shown

First confirm that CMS displays the right semester and enrolled courses. If printed books apply to your programme but you still cannot find a dispatch record, contact AIOU about the mailing record or pending dispatch. Give the university your programme, semester, student details and course codes through its official Help Desk. The packet is marked dispatched

Use the dispatch information to check the parcel through Pakistan Post tracking, as directed by AIOU’s tracking guide. If the postal record identifies a local delivery issue, follow it up with Pakistan Post. If the dispatched packet still has not reached you, keep the CMS and postal details for your request to AIOU. 3. Did the packet arrive with a book missing or wrong?

Compare the course codes on the books you received with the courses confirmed in your enrollment record. If one enrolled course book is absent, tell AIOU which code is missing and which books arrived. If you received a book for the wrong course code, use AIOU’s Application for Wrong Dispatch of Books from the official forms page. Read that form’s instructions before returning or sending anything. The wrong-dispatch form and undelivered-books form address different problems. www.aiou.edu.pk

4. Get study material while the delivery issue is open

Look for the relevant course code in AIOU’s official books section if you need material to begin studying. Check that the book matches your enrolled course. Access to a soft book can help you work now, but it does not establish where an expected printed packet went or close your delivery request. www.aiou.edu.pk
