So before assuming that your Autumn 2026 books are late, first confirm whether your programme is one for which AIOU currently provides printed course books.
How to Check AIOU Autumn 2026 Books in CMS
AIOU’s current Book Tracking guide sends eligible students to its Enrollment CMS. Follow these steps:
- Open the AIOU Enrollment CMS from the university website. Open AIOU Enrollment CMS
- Enter your CMS User ID and password.
- From the dashboard, select Mailing Books Tracking.
- Choose the relevant Academic Institution.
- Select your academic career and programme.
- Select the required semester, in this case Autumn 2026 when it becomes available in your account.
- Press Search.
- Open View All under Tracking Details to see the available mailing information.

What Does Dispatched Mean in AIOU Book Tracking?
AIOU’s example tracking screen includes information such as the student’s mailing details, course codes, dispatch date and Packet Status. The example shown in the university guide uses the status Dispatched.
If your own Autumn 2026 record shows a dispatch date, it means the mailing process has progressed to dispatch for that packet. Do not assume another student’s dispatch date will apply to you, even if both students are enrolled in the same semester.
AIOU’s official instructions also provide a Pakistan Post tracking method after dispatch information is available. The university guide links students to Pakistan Post’s tracking service and explains how the tracking ID is formed for applicable mailed books.
Use the information shown in your own CMS record rather than guessing a tracking number.
What If Autumn 2026 Books Are Not Showing?
If the Mailing Books Tracking section does not yet show an Autumn 2026 dispatch record, that does not by itself prove that your books are lost.
Check these points first:
- Make sure you selected the correct programme and semester in CMS.
- Confirm that your admission is complete.
- Check whether your programme actually receives printed books.
- If your programme uses soft books, use AIOU’s official e-book service instead.
- If CMS later shows a dispatch but the parcel does not arrive, use the available tracking details and AIOU support channels for follow-up.

AIOU E-Books and Printed Books Are Different
AIOU e-books are not the same as a physical book-dispatch record.
The university maintains an official E-Books / Books Soft service for downloadable course material. Students whose programmes are covered by soft books should use this route instead of waiting for a parcel that may not be part of their programme’s current book-delivery method.
